Project Brief
To produce a proposal for an independent magazine series, about an aspect of visual culture. The series should have a cohesive visual language that link the editions together.
Project Solution
I created 'Sonic Journals' a magazine series where each edition goes into a deep dive of a specific music genre. Looking at key artists and albums, as well as the genre's wider impact on society and culture. The visual design is influenced by punk Fanzine's from the 1970s/80s to create a personal and authentic aesthetic.
